From a cloudy Commodore to a clear vision
My journey into detailing began with a personal mission. About eight years ago, I bought my first polisher, determined to fix the cloudy, dull paintwork of my red VY Commodore. It wasn't perfect, and I hated every second of it back then, but the result was mine – a job done without help. Years later, preparing to sell another vehicle, I opted for a pre-sale clean from a local detailer. While expecting a slick finish for the price, I was underwhelmed by the lack of effort, especially inside and with scratch removal. This experience sparked something in me, leading me to Supercheap Auto, ready to do it better myself. It was this moment that set me on the path to understanding and mastering the art of bringing vehicles back to life.
